Money in, matched, and accounted for.
Every platform on Nexus can take payments through the gateways you choose. Payments are routed by currency and method, refunds and disputes are handled where the customer record is, and every payout is matched to the bank and the ledger before the month closes.

The right gateway for every payment.
Connect each gateway in test mode first. Then route payments by currency, method and brand, so direct debits go one way and card payments another.
Which gateway takes which payment
- Rules by currency, method and brand
- Fallbacks when a gateway is down
- Every route tested

- Health and limits

Refunds and disputes, beside the customer record.
Refund part of a payment after a cancellation, or answer a chargeback before its deadline, with the customer’s history beside you. Large refunds always need a second person.

- Full or part refunds
- Two people above your own limit
- Reason kept on the record

Disputes
- Deadlines tracked
- Evidence gathered from the record
- Outcome kept

Every payout matched before the month closes.
Payouts are matched to the bank and the ledger automatically. Anything that does not add up stops there, with the reason given. VAT for business customers is checked and reported.
Payouts and reconciliation
- Matched automatically
- Gaps explained
- Ready for month end

Tax
Check VAT for EU business customers and export the month’s report.
- VAT numbers checked
- Reports by month
- Exported for your accountants

Your checkout, your receipts, your portal.
Customers pay on a checkout that carries your brand, receive your receipts and manage their payments in your customer portal. On a site with no outside connection, payments that arrive by bank transfer are recorded by hand, with the same checks.
- Your look on checkout and receipts
- A customer portal for each brand
- Works on offline sites too

About payments.
Which gateways can we use?
The major card and direct debit gateways, and more than one at a time. Each is connected in test mode first.
Does Nexus store card numbers?
No. Customers type card numbers into the gateway’s own fields. Nexus receives a token and the last four digits.
