Routed. Checked. Counted. Sealed.
Governance on Nexus is not a report written afterwards. Every AI action passes through the same four steps as it happens, and leaves a record an auditor can check without an account.

Every request, every time, in this order.
Platforms never call a model directly. They ask the backplane, and the backplane does four things before an answer comes back.
Routed
To the model that fits the job: your own model or a hosted one you approved, in the regions you allow.

Checked
Against who is asking, what they may see, and whether a person must sign off first.

Counted
Against a budget a named person owns. We count use. We never read content.

Sealed
Into a record with an outside time stamp. Change one character later and the check fails.

Every agent message carries a passport.
When AI agents talk to each other, each message says who sent it, who it works for and what it may do. An agent that asks for more than its passport allows is refused, and so is an order hidden inside a document.
- Who sent it, for whom, and with what rights
- Refused: asking for more than allowed
- Refused: orders hidden in documents
- Refused: one agent pretending to be another
Here is a sealed record. Try to change it.
This is a sample record. Press Check, then edit any word and check again. Nothing is sent anywhere. The check runs in your browser.
Records are time-stamped and witnessed outside the installation, so even we cannot rewrite them. The open verifier lets an auditor check any record without an account.

AI suggests. A named person decides.
Decisions that affect people, money or safety wait for a person. Some need a second signature. The queue shows what is waiting, how long, and for whom.
- Waiting for review
Every AI decision that needs a person, in one queue with its reasons and sources.
- Four-eyes approvals
A second person for payments, access changes or anything your rules name.
- The audit log
Every action by every person and agent, searchable and exportable.

Every obligation, mapped to its evidence.
Each rule you answer to is linked to the records that answer it. When an auditor asks, the evidence pack is already there. Certification stays between you and your auditor.
One place for every obligation
The rules that apply to each unit, what each one asks for, and whether the evidence is in place.

Controls across frameworks
One control often answers several rules. Map it once and see every framework it covers.

Evidence packs
Bundle the records an auditor or supervisor asked for, sealed and ready to share, without exporting the whole system.
