Follow one mission plan, from tasking to a signed plan

A surveillance patrol for a fictional task group. Six screens, three people and two AI agents on different models, all offline. Scroll, and the screen follows the step.

Sample organisation: Northern Task GroupPeople: staff officer, commander, fleet officerTime: tasking to signed plan in four hours

Step by step

  1. 01 · Tasking

A tasking arrives on signed media.

The site is offline by design. The tasking arrives on signed media and its signature is checked before anything is opened.

Lt. Arun Mehta, staff officer, opens the plan.

  2. 02 · Sources

    Every fact keeps its source.

Orders, notices to mariners and the local weather are read on site. Each fact keeps its source and its classification.

Nothing is looked up outside the room.

  3. 03 · Draft plan

AI drafts. It stays a draft.

The planning assistant drafts a patrol plan with every line linked to its source. It is marked as a draft and cannot be sent as an order.

Lt. Arun Mehta reads the draft.

  4. 04 · Challenge

A second AI argues against it.

A challenge agent on a different family of models looks for what could go wrong: the sea state, and a busy shipping lane at 06:00.

Lt. Mehta answers each point and changes the plan.

  5. 05 · Signature

    A commander signs.

The plan, the changes and the challenge go to the commander. Until she signs, nothing counts.

    Cdr. Hana Lindqvist signs.

  6. 06 · Sealed

    Sealed on site, synced later.

The signed plan is sealed on site. Mission packs and limits go to the drones. At the next contact window the seal is witnessed again.

Inspectors can check the seal offline.

The record at the end

One record, sealed without a link.

The plan ends with one record sealed on site: the signature, the sources and their classifications, the challenge and the changes.

Change one word in a sealed record and the seal breaks. Try the seal check on the home page →
